Garden consultations and design
1. Walk and talk (on site garden consultation)
One of our horticulturists will come to your home for a garden consultation to discuss plant selection and/or general horticultural advice. We make plant selections based on water requirements, maintenance, garden aspect and your soil.
This is a predominantly verbal service and limited notes and/or a mud map may be provided during the visit if needed. If a detailed plan or extensive planting suggestions are required please see the design consultation in the next section.
Price: $200 per hour (minimum 1 hour). If extra time is needed this will be charged in 30 min blocks at $75 per 30 minutes.

2. Garden design
- One of our garden designers will come to your home for an on-site consultation to discuss your needs and vision for your native garden and undertake a site assessment and measurements.
Following the consultation, our designer will create your garden and you will receive the following as part of the design package. - Scale plan of your garden which includes basic garden and hardscape layout* (if needed) and plant placement
- Pictorial Plant Schedule with plant quantities
- Suggested materials list and garden features (where applicable)
- Planting guide
Price: from $1100.00** (for an average 500-700 sqm block). Extra hours at $150/hr thereafter.

Things to note:
Our designers are often booked several weeks in advance, particularly during spring and other peak periods, so you may have to wait for a booking time. To ensure your garden is ready when you need it, please allow for the following timeframes:
- 2-4 weeks to secure a consultation date
- 4 weeks to complete a landscape design
- 2-3 weeks to order plants
- 6-8 weeks from the delivery of final plan to complete your garden if you are contacting out the garden installation
The focus of our design service is on plants and we do not provide structural drawings for hardscaping, watering systems or drainage plans or designs for DA applications.
** As no two gardens are the same, price will vary according to block size and the garden area/s requiring design. Price is to concept only and does not include plants, materials, installation or project management.
Travel surcharge:
Please note that south of Kiama, north of the M4 and west of Liverpool will incur a travel surcharge of $75. Our nursery is located in Heathcote and requests for consults with a travel time of more than 1 hour from Heathcote will be assessed on a case by case basis and may incur a further travel surcharge.
Garden installation:
Please let us know if you would like help with installation of your garden design or plants and we can refer you to one of our preferred landscapers or gardeners.
